Messages, privacy and safety
Secure communication, privacy and fraud prevention.
Can Tripundo see messages with the host?
Communication is not public to other users, but Tripundo may process it to the extent necessary to provide service, support, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, rights protection and legal compliance. Do not send passwords, CVV, full card number or credit card photo.
The host is asking for payment to an unknown account or for card details in a message. What should I do?
Do not send your card details, SMS code, or password. Check what is written in your receipt that you pay to Tripundo and what is in the property. Report a suspicious message to Tripundos support and save a screenshot.
Someone claiming to be Tripundo called and asked for my CVV or security code. Is that safe?
No. Tripundo Support will never ask for your CVV, full card number, password or one-time banking code. If anyone asks for this information, end the conversation and contact Support through the official Tripundo Support Center.
What should I do in an emergency or dangerous situation?
If there is an immediate danger to life, health or property, first contact the relevant emergency services. Then, when you are safe, notify Tripundo and provide the booking number and a brief description. FAQ and customer support are not a substitute for emergency services.
