Reviews
Review rules, appeals and internal checks.
How is a review created?
Guests can leave one review for their completed Tripundo reservation within 30 days of completion of their stay. The review includes a rating from 1 to 10 and optional text fields.
Where do I see the reviews?
In the “Reviews” section of the selected property. An overview of the average rating, number of reviews and filters by period and unit where data is available are available.
Can I reply to a review?
No. Tripundo does not currently support public host replies to reviews. If you believe a review is invalid or breaches the rules, you may appeal that specific review.
How do I appeal a review?
Open the relevant review in the “Reviews” section and select “Appeal review.” State the reason and provide relevant facts from the booking or Tripundo communication. Tripundo then checks whether the review is linked to a genuine stay and complies with its internal review and moderation rules. The review may remain published, be partially hidden because it contains personal data, or be removed when a rules breach is confirmed.
Can I remove a negative review?
Not only because it is negative. If it contains threats, personal data, hate speech, non-residence content or other possible breach, submit a complaint on the particular review and clearly explain the reason. Tripundo checks the connection with the stay and compliance with the rules; the review remains published unless the review establishes the reason for removal or partial hiding.
Do reviews affect listing visibility?
Yes. The ratings, number and quality of valid reviews may affect accommodation visibility, but they are not the only ranking factors. The selected commission level, availability, listing quality and completeness, and host reliability may also affect position.
The host cancellation rate is a separate reliability signal: more frequent cancellations may reduce visibility, while repeated or serious cancellations may lead to temporary or permanent property suspension under Tripundo rules. The exact factor weights and internal ranking calculation are not public and may change to protect platform quality and safety.
