How did it all begin?
Tripundo was not created in corporate offices, but out of a real need, personal experience and thousands of kilometers traveled. We are four friends – Goran, Petar, Marko and Nemanja. Among us, two are long-time hosts who know all the challenges of renting out accommodation inside out, while the other two are passionate travelers who have traveled the world, changed countless accommodations and gotten to know global platforms down to the smallest detail.
For years, on both sides of the screen, we have shared the same joys, but also the frustrations that come with working on large, global services. We realized that the systems currently dominating the market often lack flexibility, an understanding of our region and, above all, a fair relationship. We watched hosts lose profit through excessive commissions and complicated software, while both hosts and guests face robotic, inefficient customer support when they need it most.
We decided that, instead of waiting for changes, we would combine our knowledge as hosts and travelers and build a compact and smart solution ourselves.
